RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

      Remove the clip and engine room side cover.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • w/ Navigation System (for HDD):

      After the ignition switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. for Sedan:

      Remove the roof headlining Click here.

    2. for Wagon:

      Remove the roof headlining Click here.

  4. REMOVE NO. 6 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Sedan)

    1. Remove the 2 No. 6 roof silencer pads.

  5. REMOVE NO. 6 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Wagon)


    1. Remove the 4 No. 6 roof silencer pads.

  6. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)


    1. Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

  7. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Wagon)


    1. w/o Panorama Roof:

      Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

    2. w/ Panorama Roof

      Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

  8. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the upper instrument panel Click here.

  9. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

    1. w/ Navigation System:

      Remove the navigation antenna assembly.


      1. Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Detach the claw and remove the navigation antenna assembly.

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

  10. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. for Connector Type:


      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.

    2. for Plug Type:


      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.

  11. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Connector Type:


      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
