CONDENSER(for 8AR-FTS) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFC-134a(R134a))

  3. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf))

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

    Click here

  7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (for RHD)

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    Click here

  11. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

    Click here

  12. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A

      Disengage the claw to open the service hole cover.

      Remove the bolt.

    3. B0072P1

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly A from the cooler condenser assembly.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  13. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  14. DISCONNECT NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

      Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose.

      Note


      • Do not apply excessive force to the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose.

      • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

  15. DISCONNECT NO. 7 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

      Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 7 intercooler cooling water hose.

      Note


      • Do not apply excessive force to the No. 7 intercooler cooling water hose.

      • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

  16. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH INTERCOOLER COOLING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly with intercooler cooling radiator assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly with intercooler cooling radiator assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly with intercooler cooling radiator assembly.

  17. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the cooler condenser assembly from the intercooler cooling radiator assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or intercooler cooling radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
