DESCRIPTION

The telematics transceiver checks the reception condition of the location data every minute after the engine switch is turned on (ACC). If the location data is not received from the navigation ECU for 5 minutes, this DTC will be stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs
    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes
      Result
      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs are output. A
      DTC B15DB and B15DE are output. B
      Only DTC B15DE is output. C

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the O160 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the O146 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O160-4 (USBV) - O146-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      O160-2 (USBG) - O146-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      O146-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O146-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - NAVIGATION ECU)


    1. Check the installation condition.


      1. Check the USB communication lines (digital communication line) between the navigation ECU and the telematics transceiver for any installation or connection problems.

      Disconnect the O166 navigation ECU connector.

    3. Disconnect the O146 telematics transceiver connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
