NAVIGATION SYSTEM Remote Touch Screen Does not Generate Vibration Feedback

DESCRIPTION

When each button displayed on the multi-display assembly is selected via touchpad operation, the remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) generates vibration feedback according to communication between the remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) and radio receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY CUSTOMIZE SETTING


    1. Check that the touchpad vibration feedback force customize setting is not set to "LEVEL1 (No Vibration)" on the multi-display assembly screen.

  2. REMOTE TOUCH SELF CHECK (CHECK VIBRATION FEEDBACK GENERATION CONDITION)


    1. Enter self-diagnostic mode.

    2. Operate the touchpad laterally and check that the remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) generates vibration feedback.

      Note

      Since the touchpad may recognize a pinch in/out or flick operation if operated with 2 fingers, always use 1 finger to operate the touchpad in self-diagnostic mode.
