PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (+BS TERMINAL)

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Skid Control ECU (Brake Actuator Assembly))

      Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the A94 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      A94-38 (+BS) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A94-38 (+BS) - A94-25 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    CHECK OR REPLACE CHARGING SYSTEM OR BATTERY for 8AR-FTS: Click here

  2. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Reconnect the A94 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    3. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs

    4. Turn the engine switch off.

    5. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    6. Check if the same DTC is output.
