COOLING FAN MOTOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR RH

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan motor RH with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      for 100 W Type

      2.6 N*m  { 27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf }

      for 200 W Type

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR LH

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan motor LH with the 3 screws.

      Torque:

      3.9 N*m  { 40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

3. INSTALL FAN RH

   Note

   Do not reverse the position of the fan LH and fan RH when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

   
   

   1. Install the fan RH with the nut.

      Torque:

      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

4. INSTALL FAN LH

   Note

   Do not reverse the position of the fan LH and fan RH bwhen installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

   
   

   1. Install the fan LH with the nut.

      Torque:

      6.3 N*m  { 64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

5. INSTALL COOLING FAN ECU

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan ECU with the 2 screws.

      Torque:

      2.6 N*m  { 27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf }

   2. Engage the 4 clamps to connect the wire harness.

   3. Connect the cooling fan motor LH connector and cooling fan motor RH connector.

6. INSTALL FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Engage the 3 guides.

   2. Engage the 3 claws to install the fan shroud assembly to the radiator assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when installing the fan shroud assembly.

7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT

   Click here

8. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install a new radiator hose clamp to the fan shroud assembly.

   2. Engage the clamp to connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator hose clamp.

9. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

10. CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    Click here

11. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

    Click here

12. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

13. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

14. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

15. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

16. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

17. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

18. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
