THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

    Click here

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

    Click here

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE CENTER NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  8. DISCONNECT NO. 6 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 6 water by-pass hose from the water inlet.

  9. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and gasket.
