PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

  3. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

    Click here

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

      *1 Fuel Tube Sub-assembly

      Remove the fuel pressure pulsation damper assembly, 2 gaskets and fuel tube sub-assembly from the fuel pump assembly.
