HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR REMOVAL

CAUTION:

The engine assembly with transmission is very heavy. Be sure to follow the procedure described in the repair manual, or the engine lifter may suddenly drop.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

  2. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR


    1. A01R77F

      Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. A01R6ZFN01

      Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst).
