AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR REMOVAL

CAUTION:

The engine assembly with transmission is very heavy. Be sure to follow the procedure described in the repair manual, or the engine lifter may suddenly drop.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSMISSION

  2. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. A01R43UN01

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst).

      Note

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
