THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      *a Injector Connector (for Direct Injection)
      *b Engine Wire Connector

      Disconnect the injector connector (for Direct Injection).

    2. Disconnect the engine wire connector.

      Disengage the 2 engine wire clamps.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 6 water by-pass pipe from the intercooler assembly and No. 2 air tube.

    5. Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

      *1 No. 1 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose

      Slide the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

      Remove the 8 bolts, No. 2 air tube and throttle body with motor assembly from the intercooler assembly and intake manifold assembly.

  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET

      Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold.

    2. A01R3BS

      Remove the throttle body gasket from the No. 2 air tube.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR TUBE GASKET


    1. A01R3OD

      Remove the No. 2 air tube gasket from the intercooler assembly.
