HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for VELLFIRE) REMOVAL

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE RADIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and radiator cover sub-assembly.
REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

  *1 Protective Tape
  
  Put protective tape around the radiator grille assembly.
2. Remove the 4 screws.
3. Disengage the 6 claws.
4. Disconnect the connector and remove the radiator grille assembly.
REMOVE HEADLIGHT COVER LH
1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the headlight cover LH.

Tech Tips

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  *1 Protective Tape
  
  Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.
2. Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.
3. Remove the 4 bolts.
4. Remove the screw.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
5. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
6. Disengage the 3 claws.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

8. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
9. Disconnect the connector.
10. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper assembly.
REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the bolt and 2 screws.
2. Disengage the claw and guide to slide the headlight assembly.
3. Disconnect each connector and remove the headlight assembly.
