POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Front Passenger Seat) REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for LHD)

      Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips, claw and 2 guides, and remove the cowl side trim board RH.

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for RHD)

      Remove the clip(A).

    2. Disengage the clip, claw and 2 guides, and remove the cowl side trim board LH.

  4. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 FLOOR CARPET MOULDING

      Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° counterclockwise to release the 2 locks, and remove the 2 No. 3 floor carpet mouldings.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER LH


    1. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

      Turn back the floor carpet.

      Disengage the 6 claws and guide, and remove the front seat leg cover LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

    2. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and guide, and open the cover.

    4. A01CCEZE01

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and guide, and open the cover.

    5. A01CDSZ

      Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

    6. Operate the slide power seat switch knob and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the reclining power seat switch knob and move the seatback to the upright position.

    7. Operate the front seat power seat switch assembly to fully raise the ottoman.

    8. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    10. A01CCXM

      Remove the front seat assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  9. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01CDAO

      Using a moulding remover, remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  10. REMOVE SLIDE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, remove the slide power seat switch knob as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. A01CFUD

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Disengage the 8 claws and 2 guides.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps from the front seat cushion shield.

    5. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  12. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 7 claws, clip and 2 guides and remove the front seat inner cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the 5 nuts and the front seat leg assembly.

  15. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Remove the lower front seat leg cover.

  16. REMOVE FOOTREST ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and the footrest assembly.

  17. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 FRONT SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower No. 1 front seatback lock bezel.

  18. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 FRONT SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower No. 2 front seatback lock bezel.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly.

  20. REMOVE SEAT ARMREST COVER

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and remove the seat armrest cover.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and the front seat armrest assembly.

  22. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01CDYP

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. A01CDX5

      Disengage the 12 hooks.

    4. A01CD2H

      for Leather Seat:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    5. A01CFGR

      Remove the nut.

    6. A01CEI0

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    7. A01CFEG

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    8. Disconnect the connector and remove the power seat switch assembly.
