PRECAUTION
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Click here).
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).
REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
Move the shift lever to N.
Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.
Make sure to disengage the lower claws first. The center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly may be damaged if the upper claws are disengaged first.
Disengage the 20 claws.
Make sure to disengage the lower claws first. The center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly may be damaged if the upper claws are disengaged first.
Disconnect the connector and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.
REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the air conditioning control assembly.
Disconnect the connector.
REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
Apply protective tape at the position shown in the illustration.

Remove the 4 bolts.
Disengage the 4 claws and pull the navigation receiver assembly with bracket toward the rear of the vehicle.
w/ Front Center Speaker:
Disengage the claw and disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration.
Disconnect each connector and remove the navigation receiver assembly with bracket.
REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET
Remove the 4 screws and No. 2 radio receiver bracket.
REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET
Remove the 4 screws and No. 1 radio receiver bracket.
REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE
Remove the 2 screws.
Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cover.
Using a screwdriver with its tip taped with protective tape, slide the hard disk drive in the direction shown by the arrow to remove it.
