    REMOVE RADIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CDEV

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and radiator cover sub-assembly.

  2. Click here

    DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

  3. Click here

    REMOVE BATTERY


    1. Disconnect the positive (+) cable from the positive (+) battery terminal.

      Disconnect the 2 wire clamps.

    3. Loosen the nut, and remove the bolt and battery clamp.

    4. Remove the battery and battery insulator.

  4. Click here

    REMOVE BATTERY TRAY


    1. Remove the battery tray.

  5. Click here

    REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for 1.6 kW Type)

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the 5 bolts and battery carrier.

  6. Click here

    REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for 1.7 kW Type)

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the 5 bolts and battery carrier.

  7. Click here

    REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER SUPPORT (for 1.6 kW Type)

      Remove the 2 bolts and battery carrier support.

  8. Click here

    REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER SUPPORT (for 1.7 kW Type)

      Remove the 2 bolts and battery carrier support.

  9. Click here

    DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. A01CFMX

      Remove the nut and clip, and disconnect the control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

  10. Click here

    REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

    2. A01CEOW

      Remove the nut, spring washer and control shaft lever.

    3. A01CFMPE01

      Using a screwdriver, bend the tabs of the lock plate.

    4. Remove the lock nut and lock plate.

      Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the park/neutral position switch to remove it.
