FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door) INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:

      Attach the 14 clamps to install the fuel lid lock control cable.

    2. for RHD:

      Attach the 17 clamps to install the fuel lid lock control cable.

    3. A00JYGS

      Install the lock retainer and turn it clockwise.

    4. A00JWAG

      Install the cable and turn it clockwise as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY


    1. A00JTZM

      for LHD:


      1. Return the front floor carpet to its original position and attach the 6 clamps.

    2. A00JTWH

      for RHD:


      1. Return the front floor carpet to its original position and attach the 12 clamps.

  3. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the fuel lid lock control cable assembly to the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly.

    2. Attach the 3 claws to install the fuel lid control lever sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides to install the door scuff plate.

  5. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 4 clips and 2 guides and pass the rear No. 2 seat outer belt floor anchor through the rear quarter trim panel.

    2. Attach the 7 clips and 2 guides to install the rear quarter trim panel.

  7. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Pass the rear seatback lock control lever base through the deck trim side panel.

      2. Attach the 5 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel.

      3. Install the 4 bolts and 2 screws.

      4. Attach the 6 claws and 2 guides to install the rear seatback lock control lever base to the deck trim side panel.

      5. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 4 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel.

      2. Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

      3. Install the rear No. 2 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      4. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other assist grip.


    1. Install the assist grip with the 2 bolts.

  9. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP PLUG (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all assist grip plugs.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the assist grip plug.

  10. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/ Tonneau Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other front deck side trim cover.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front deck side trim cover

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Tonneau Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.


    1. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook by turning it clockwise.

  13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.

  14. INSTALL REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other front luggage compartment trim cover.


    1. Install the luggage hold belt striker and front luggage compartment trim cover with the bolt.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to install the cap.

  15. INSTALL FLOOR SIDE RAIL LH (w/ Deck Rail)


    1. Install the floor side rail with the 3 bolts.

  16. INSTALL FLOOR SIDE RAIL RH (w/ Deck Rail)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Attach the 5 clips and 4 claws to install the rear floor mat rear support plate.

  18. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Attach the clip to install the No. 1 deck board.

  19. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Use the same procedure for the other front luggage compartment trim cover.


    1. Install the luggage hold belt striker and front luggage compartment trim cover with the bolt.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to install the cap.

  20. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)


    1. Install the tonneau cover.

  21. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    1. Align the paint mark on the rear door opening trim weatherstrip with the mark position on the vehicle and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.

  22. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Attach the 3 clips, 6 claws and 2 guides to install the rear door scuff plate.

  23. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RHD)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  24. INSTALL QUARTER SCUFF PLATE LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Install the quarter scuff plate with the 2 bolts.

  25. INSTALL QUARTER SCUFF PLATE RH (for RHD, Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  26. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR STEP COVER (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all rear No. 1 floor step covers.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear No. 1 floor step cover.

  27. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 1 Seat)


    1. for 60/40 Split Double-folding Seat Type LH Side:

      Install the rear No. 1 seatback assembly Click here.
