FUEL SEDIMENTER WARNING SWITCH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL LEVEL WARNING SWITCH


    1. Install a new warning switch gasket to the level warning switch.

    2. Apply fuel to the warning switch gasket of the level warning switch.

    3. Install the level warning switch to the fuel filter element and tighten it by hand.

  2. INSTALL FUEL FILTER COVER


    1. Install the fuel filter gasket and fuel filter cover to the fuel filter element assembly.

    2. A00O9PV

      Tighten the bolt.

      Torque:
      3.4 N*m  { 35 kgf*cm, 30 in.*lbf }

    3. Attach the level warning switch connector clamp to the fuel filter cap.

  3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY (w/ Fuel Heater)


    1. Install the fuel filter assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the level warning switch connector and fuel heater connector.

    3. Connect the 2 fuel hoses.

  4. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY (w/ Clogging Switch)


    1. Install the fuel filter assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the level warning switch connector and clogging switch connector.

    3. Connect the 2 fuel hoses.

  5. BLEED AIR FROM FUEL SYSTEM


  6. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
