INSTALL NO. 2 MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU

1. Install the multiplex network body ECU with the bolt.

2. Connect the 2 connectors.

INSTALL SIDE TRIM BOX

1. Install the side trim box with the 9 screws.

INSTALL SIDE TRIM BOX COVER

1. Install the side trim box cover.

INSTALL QUARTER TRIM LID SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

1. Install the quarter trim lid.

1. Attach the 6 clips to install the quarter trim cover.

1. Attach the 6 clips to install the rear No. 2 seat cover bezel.

INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type)

INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER LH (w/ Rear Heater)

1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

1. Attach the 4 claws to install the quarter trim cover.

2. Install the 7 screws.

   w/ Rear Heater:

   Install the duct with the 8 screws.

1. Install the hanger with 2 new spring nuts.

Tech Tips

• for Manual Seat:

  When installing the roof headlining, move the front seat and rear No. 1 seat to the position shown in the illustration.

• for Power Seat:

  When installing the roof headlining, connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and move the front seat and No. 1 rear seat to the position shown in the illustration.

• for Power Seat:

  After moving the seats, disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. 

   Place the headlining in the cabin from the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

   Note

   Be careful not to damage the roof headlining when placing it in the cabin.

2. for 3 Person Seat Type Rear No. 2 Seat:

   Attach the 12 claws, 2 clips, 2 guides and 16 fasteners to install the headlining.

   

3. except 3 Person Seat Type Rear No. 2 Seat:

   Attach the 12 claws, 3 clips, 2 guides and 16 fasteners to install the headlining.

   
4. 

   Connect the washer hose.

5. 

   Connect the antenna cord connector.

6. 

   Connect the antenna cord connector and attach the 2 clamps.

7. Install the bolt.

8. 

   Connect the 3 roof wire connectors and washer hose.

9. Attach the 4 clamps.

10. 

    Connect the drive gear connector.

11. 

    w/ Rain Sensor:

    Disconnect the rain sensor connector.

12. 

    w/ EC Mirror:

    Connect the inner mirror connector.

1. Install 3 new clips to the roof side rail garnish.

2. Attach the 3 clips to install the roof side rail garnish.

      Torque:

      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

   2. 

      Attach the 2 claws to close the seat belt shoulder anchor cover.

   1. Attach the 5 clips to install the rear upper pillar garnish.

   w/ Power Back Door:

   
   

   1. Pass the power back door rod through the rear upper pillar garnish.

   2. Attach the 5 clips to install the rear upper pillar garnish.

3. 

   Install the seat belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.

   Torque:

   42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

4. 

   Attach the 2 claws to close the seat belt shoulder anchor cover.

1. Pass the seat belt anchor through the quarter trim garnish.

2. Attach the clip and 2 guides to install the quarter trim garnish.

3. Install the screw.

When installing the front quarter trim panel, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the No. 1 rear seat to the position shown in the illustration.

   1. w/o Rear Air Conditioning System:

      Connect the rear seat lock control lever cable.

   2. w/ Rear Air Conditioning System:

      Connect the thermistor connector and rear seat lock control lever cable.

   3. Attach the 18 clips and 2 claws to install the quarter trim panel.

   4. Install the clip and bolt.

      Torque:

      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      

2. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat or w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, for Face to Face Seat Type:

   
   

   1. Attach the 18 clips and 2 claws to install the quarter trim panel.

   2. Install the clip.

      
3. 

   w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type:

   Install the rear No. 2 seat belt anchor with the bolt.

   Torque:

   42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

   Note

   Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding parts of the vehicle body.

4. 

   Install the rear No. 1 seat belt anchor with the bolt.

   Torque:

   42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

5. 

   Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

Tech Tips

When installing the front quarter trim panel, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the No. 1 rear seat to the position shown in the illustration.

1. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type:

      Connect the rear seat lock control lever cable.

   4. Install the clip and bolt.

      Torque:

      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

   1. Attach the 16 clips and 2 claws to install the quarter trim panel.

   2. Install the clip.

   1. Install the rear No. 2 seat belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:

      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
