FRONT SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL

PRECAUTION

Note

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Note

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE FRONT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH
1. Disconnect the connector from the front speed sensor.
2. Remove the bolt and harness clamp.
3. Remove the nut and harness clamp.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.
5. w/o AHC:
  
  Disconnect the connector and then remove the bolt, harness clamp and sensor wire.
6. w/ AHC:
  
  Disconnect the 2 connectors and then remove the bolt, harness clamp and sensor wire.
REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH
1. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the knuckle.
  
  Note
  
  Pull out the sensor while trying as much as possible not to rotate it.
REMOVE FRONT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE RH
1. Disconnect the connector from the front speed sensor.
2. Remove the bolt and harness clamp.
3. Remove the nut and harness clamp.
4. w/o AHC:
  1. Disconnect the connector.
  2. Detach the connector from the skid control sensor clamp.
  3. Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp.
  4. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 harness clamps and sensor wire.
5. w/ AHC:
  1. Disconnect the connector.
  2. Detach the connector from the skid control sensor clamp.
  3. Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp.
  4. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.
  5. Disconnect the connector and then remove the bolt, harness clamp and sensor wire.
REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR RH
1. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the knuckle.
  
  Note
  
  Pull out the sensor while trying as much as possible not to rotate it.
