C1794 Height Control OFF Switch Circuit (Test Mode DTC)

DESCRIPTION

This is the height control system main switch. When the height control switch is pushed, the height control OFF indicator light lights up and height control turns off.

The off condition of the height control will not be canceled until the height control switch is pushed again or the vehicle is driven.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits.

  • If the suspension control ECU or height control sensor is replaced, the vehicle height offset calibration must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SWITCH (HEIGHT CONTROL OFF SWITCH)


    1. Remove the suspension control switch Click here.

    2. A015A02E03

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      9 (N) - 16 (E) Height control OFF switch is pushed. Below 1 Ω
      Height control OFF switch is not pushed. 10 kΩ or higher

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU - SWITCH AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the K34 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the V4 switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K34-11 (TD) - V4-9 (N) Always Below 1 Ω
      K34-11 (TD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      V4-16 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
