HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Pattern Select Switch Eco Mode Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When selecting ECO mode, the integration control and panel assembly operation signal is sent to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. Following this, ECO mode control is activated for the heater and air conditioning system.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B
    4. Turn the power switch off.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    4. Check for DTCs.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs are output. A
      DTCs are output. B
    5. Turn the power switch off.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (ECO MODE)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / ECO Mode.

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioning / Data List / ECO Switch.

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

  5. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (MODE SWITCH)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      2 - 5 Mode switch being pushed and held Below 1 Ω

    3. Install the integration control and panel assembly.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H71 integration control and panel assembly connector.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H54 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H71 integration control and panel assembly connector.

    4. Reconnect the H71 integration control and panel assembly connector.

    5. Reconnect the H54 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
