  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

  3. INSPECT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (BEAM AXIS MISALIGNMENT READING)*


    1. Adjust the reflector height Click here.

    2. Place the reflector Click here.

    3. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    4. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    5. Turn the GTS on.

    6. Turn the cruise control switch (ON/OFF button) on.

    7. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Utility / Beam Axis Misalignment Reading.

    8. Check the amount of misalignment and make a note.

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)*


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  5. CHECK FOR DTC*


    1. DTC Check / Clear Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

    3. Clear the DTCs.

    4. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
