PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

  7. DISCONNECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

  10. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

  13. REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU (for LHD)


    1. A01MGZS

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01MHUGC01
      *a Protective Tape
      B006JEG Pull up
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claws to remove the network gateway ECU as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU (for RHD)

      Disconnect the 5 connectors.

    2. A01MIZYC03
      *a Protective Tape
      B006JEG Pull up
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claws to remove the network gateway ECU as shown in the illustration.
