SHIFT LEVER REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

If the transmission instrument panel shift assembly is to be replaced with a new one, it is necessary to clear the learned shift sensor voltage values by disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION INSTRUMENT PANEL SHIFT ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the transmission instrument panel shift assembly connector.

    2. A01MH4B

      Remove the 3 nuts and transmission instrument panel shift assembly from the center lower cluster support bracket.
