FC CONTROL ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE FC CONTROL ECU


    1. A01MHJ1

      Disengage the clamp to separate the wire harness from the No. 1 FC control ECU bracket.

    2. A01MFMJ

      Lift up the lever to disengage the lock, and disconnect the 2 FC control ECU connectors from the FC control ECU.

      Note

      When disconnecting connectors, make sure that foreign substances such as mud or water droplets do not adhere to them.

    3. A01MHBO

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Disengage the hook and remove the FC control ECU from the vehicle and No. 3 FC control ECU bracket.

      Note

      If the FC control ECU is dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it with a new one.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 FC CONTROL ECU BRACKET


    1. A01MFL3

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 FC control ECU bracket from the FC control ECU.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 FC CONTROL ECU BRACKET


    1. A01MHQI

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 FC control ECU bracket from the FC control ECU.
