TRANSFER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Be sure to perform this procedure with several people as the transfer assembly is very heavy.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSFER CASE LOWER PROTECTOR


    1. Install the transfer case lower protector with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY


    1. B0025H6C01
      *1 Clamp

      for A750F:

      Install the transfer assembly and 2 clamps with the 8 bolts.

      Note

      Do not damage the lip of the transfer adaptor oil seal.

      Torque:
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
    2. B002562C01
      *1 Clamp

      for AC60F:

      Install the transfer assembly and 2 clamps with the 8 bolts.

      Note

      Do not damage the lip of the transfer adaptor oil seal.

      Torque:
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
    3. B0026PJC01
      *1 Clamp

      for R151F:

      Install the transfer assembly and 2 clamps with the 8 bolts.

      Note

      Do not damage the lip of the transfer adaptor oil seal.

      Torque:
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
    4. B00276HC01
      *1 Clamp

      for RC60F / RC61F:

      Install the transfer assembly and clamp with the 8 bolts.

      Note

      Do not damage the lip of the transfer adaptor oil seal.

      Torque:
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

  3. CONNECT TRANSFER BREATHER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the 2 transfer breather hose sub-assemblies and attach the 2 clamps.

  4. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS


    1. A01SGSA

      for A750F:

      Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps.

    2. B00290EC01
      *A for 2TR-FE

      for AC60F:


      1. for 1GR-FE, 1GD-FTV, 2GD-FTV:

        Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps.

      2. for 2TR-FE:

        Connect the connector and attach the 4 clamps.

    3. B00292Q

      for R151F:

      Connect the connector and attach the 4 clamps.

    4. B00282C

      for RC60F / RC61F:

      Connect the connector and attach the 2 clamps.

  5. CONNECT GROUND WIRE


  6. INSTALL REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR


  7. INSTALL NO. 3 FRAME CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY


  8. INSTALL PROPELLER WITH CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  10. ADD TRANSFER OIL

  11. CHECK FOR TRANSFER OIL LEAK
