    INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 No. 3 Parking Brake Cable Assembly - -

      for Short Body:


      1. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 3 bolts and nut.

        for Bolt A, Nut C
        25.5 N*m 260 kgf*cm 19 ft.*lbf
        for Bolt B
        14 N*m 143 kgf*cm 10 ft.*lbf

      2. Install the clip.

      *1 No. 3 Parking Brake Cable Assembly - -

      for Long Body:


      1. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 4 bolts and nut.

        for Bolt A, Nut C
        25.5 N*m 260 kgf*cm 19 ft.*lbf
        for Bolt B
        14 N*m 143 kgf*cm 10 ft.*lbf

      2. Install the clip.

    3. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the backing plate with the 2 bolts.

      9.0 N*m 92 kgf*cm 80 in.*lbf

    4. Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake shoe lever.

    INSTALL PARKING BRAKE EQUALIZER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the parking brake equalizer sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      25.5 N*m 260 kgf*cm 19 ft.*lbf

    INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 No. 2 Parking Brake Cable Assembly *2 Parking Brake Equalizer Sub-assembly

      Install the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly with the 4 bolts.

      for Bolt A
      25.5 N*m 260 kgf*cm 19 ft.*lbf
      for Bolt B
      14 N*m 143 kgf*cm 10 ft.*lbf

      B00692L MP grease

      Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake equalizer sub-assembly and apply MP grease to the connecting portion.

    3. Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly to the backing plate with the 2 bolts.

      9.0 N*m 92 kgf*cm 80 in.*lbf

    4. Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake shoe lever.

    INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the cable support bracket with the bolt.

      25.5 N*m 260 kgf*cm 19 ft.*lbf

    2. Insert the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from inside the vehicle.

    3. Install the 2 bolts.

      8.0 N*m 82 kgf*cm 71 in.*lbf

    4. Connect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the cable support bracket.

    5. Connect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake equalizer sub-assembly.

    6. Connect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

      Apply MP grease to the pin.

    8. Install the clip and pin to the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

    1. Install the No. 2 console box mounting bracket to the intermediate lever protector with the 2 bolts.

    INSTALL INTERMEDIATE LEVER PROTECTOR


    1. Install the intermediate lever protector to the body with the 3 bolts.

      12.5 N*m 127 kgf*cm 9 ft.*lbf

    2. Install the floor carpet.
