  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the navigation receiver removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Pull out the navigation receiver assembly to detach the clips on the backside of the navigation receiver assembly with bracket.

    3. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the navigation receiver assembly with bracket.

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket from the navigation receiver assembly.

  21. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket from the navigation receiver assembly.

      Remove the navigation receiver assembly in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.
