TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. SECURE VEHICLE


    1. Fully apply the parking brake and chock a wheel.

      CAUTION:


      • Make sure to apply the parking brake and chock a wheel before performing this procedure.

      • If the vehicle is not secure and the shift lever is moved to N, the vehicle may suddenly move, possibly resulting in an accident or serious injury.

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT (w/ Rear Air Duct)

  4. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut, clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the automatic transmission assembly.

    2. A01LA2B

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground wire from the vehicle body.

    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable support from the vehicle body.

    4. A01LCL6

      Remove the 2 nuts and detach the 3 claws, and then pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.
