STARTER(for 2.0 kW Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

   INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for Automatic Transmission:

      
      
      1. 

         Temporarily install the starter assembly and ground cable with the nut and 2 bolts.

      2. Tighten the bolt A and nut B.

         68 N*m

         693 kgf*cm

         50 ft.*lbf

   2. for Manual Transmission:

      
      

      1. Temporarily install the starter assembly and ground cable with the bolt.

      2. Temporarily install the clutch flexible hose bracket with the bolt.

      3. Tighten the 2 bolts.

         68 N*m

         693 kgf*cm

         50 ft.*lbf

   3. Connect the starter wire with the nut.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

   4. Connect the starter connector.

   5. Install the starter terminal cap.

   CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)

   INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL LH

   
   

   1. Install the front fender seal LH with new 6 clips.

4. Click here

   INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

   Click here

5. Click here

   INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

   Click here

6. Click here

   CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
