AUXILIARY BATTERY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

    1. Pull up in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to disengage the claws, and remove the luggage trim service hole cover from the vehicle.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    1. Loosen the nut and disconnect the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal from the auxiliary battery.

  4. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY


    1. A01MIGR

      Disengage the 5 claws and remove the battery terminal connector cover from the fusible link block assembly.

    2. A01MIS1

      Loosen the nut and disconnect the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal from the auxiliary battery.

    3. A01MICG

      Remove the bolt, nut and battery clamp from the vehicle.

    4. A01MJAE

      Disconnect the battery hose from the auxiliary battery.

    5. A01MGAI

      Remove the auxiliary battery from the vehicle.
