FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY

    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST CAP

      Using a moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the claw and remove the No. 1 seat armrest cap.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the bolt and front seat inner armrest assembly RH.

  4. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps RH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY RH

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp

      Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

      Remove the 5 nuts and front seat leg assembly RH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seat leg cover.

  7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle RH while moving it in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE RH


    1. Operate the vertical adjuster handle RH to set the seat cushion height of the front seat assembly RH to the uppermost position.

      Remove the screw.

      With the seatback adjuster lever pulled up, detach the guide, and then pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the vertical adjuster handle RH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

      Remove the front seat cushion protector.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the clip and claw.

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw and guide.

    4. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration while holding down the seatback adjuster lever to remove the front seat cushion shield RH.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Pull up in remove direction shown in the illustration to detach the clip and claw.

      Using moulding remover A, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and push down in the removal direction to detach the claw.

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the remove direction to detach the claw and guide.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Open the hook as shown in the illustration, and then using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the bottom claw. While pulling as shown, detach the top claw and remove the front seatback hook.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Remove the band in the position shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      Open the fastener.

      Detach the claw and pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  14. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Detach the fastening tape and disconnect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly RH.

      Remove the nut and disconnect the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover RH.

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    4. Lift in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 10 hog rings, detach the fastening tape and remove the separate type front seatback cover RH.

  16. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE


    1. B006OPD

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  17. REMOVE SEATBACK FELT

      Remove the seatback felt.

  20. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings and disconnect the 2 straps of the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover RH.

  22. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

    4. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. While rotating the part in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration, detach the claw.

    3. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the front seat cushion edge protector RH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the hook.

    2. While rotating the part in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration, detach the hook and remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly RH.

  29. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Pull up in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

    2. Rotate the part in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  30. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Detach the claw and guide and remove the front seatback edge protector.

  32. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Detach the 2 clamps on the front seatback hooks.

      Pull up in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the 2 front seatback hooks.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  34. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE


    1. Detach the lock pins, and pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the seat track adjusting handle.
