REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEAT LEG BRACKET


    1. B0057LXN01

      Tighten the 4 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration to install the seat leg bracket.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach the clamp.

    3. Return the floor carpet to its original position.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY


    1. B005AISC01

      Attach the 2 guides to temporarily install the No. 1 seat leg assembly.

    2. Tighten the 10 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration to install the No. 1 seat leg assembly.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      *A w/ Seat Heater System

      w/o Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 2 claws and 3 clamps to connect the wire harness.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 4 claws and 3 clamps to connect the wire harness.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD


    1. B005776

      Attach the 2 guides to install the battery service cover board.

    2. Install the 5 clips.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. B005BGLN08

      Attach the 2 guides and temporarily install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 4 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 4 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      *A w/ Seat Heater System

      w/o Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 2 clamps and connect the connector.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors.

    5. Operate the rear power seat switch to fold down the rear seatback assembly RH.

    6. B0059YON01

      Install the 3 clips in the order indicated in the illustration.

    7. Operate the rear power seat switch to move the rear seatback assembly RH to the upright position.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B0059R6N07

      Attach the 2 guides and temporarily install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 4 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      *A w/ Seat Heater System

      w/o Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 2 clamps and connect the connector.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors.

    5. Operate the rear power seat switch to fold down the rear seatback assembly LH.

      Install the 4 clips in the order indicated in the illustration.

    7. Operate the rear power seat switch to move the rear seatback assembly LH to the upright position.

  6. INSTALL REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH

  7. INSTALL NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the clamp to connect the connector.

    3. Attach the guide and 2 clips to install the No. 3 battery service cover board.

    4. Install the 2 clips.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 3 battery service cover board.

  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  11. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Pass the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH through the rubber band of the rear seat cushion assembly.

      *a Rear seat cushion lock hook section
      *b Hook section at rear of rear seat cushion frame

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. Attach the 2 hooks on the rear of the rear seat cushion frame.

    4. Attach the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

      Note

      Check that the rear seat cushion lock hook and the rear seat cushion frame are securely inserted.

  12. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

  14. INITIALIZATION FOLD SEAT CONTROL ECU

    Note

    After performing the following procedures, initialize the fold seat control ECU.

    • When replacing the fold seat control ECU with a new one.

    • When canceling fold seat control ECU initialization (initial position reset).

      After performing the following procedures, initialize the fold seat control ECU (initial position reset and initial position memorization).

    • When replacing the fold seat control ECU with another one.

    • When the seatback was moved with the fold seat control ECU removed.

    • When the seatback position became incorrect due to disassembly or replacement of the seat, etc.

  15. INSPECT REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM
