  • Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY LH

  2. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS

  3. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB RUNOUT

    Click here

  4. INSTALL REAR DISC

    Click here

  5. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER MOUNTING LH

    Click here

  6. INSTALL REAR SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH (w/ AVS)


    1. B0059DMN01

      Connect the connector to the skid control sensor.

    2. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

    3. Install sensor clamp A together with sensor clamp B with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the wire harness for the sensor clamp when installing it.

    4. B0058BEN01

      Install sensor clamp A together with sensor clamp B with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the wire harness for the sensor clamp when installing it.

    5. Install sensor clamp C with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the wire harness for the sensor clamp when installing it.

    6. Connect the connector.

    7. Install the sensor clamp to the side member with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      *1 Grommet
      *2 Connector
      *3 Grommet Band Clamp
      *a Inside of Vehicle

      Insert the connector and grommet into the inside of the vehicle through the passage hole in the wheel house.

      Note

      Make sure the grommet band clamp remains on the outside of the vehicle.

    9. Hold the grommet and pull it toward the outside of the vehicle. Then fix the grommet in place so that it is not tilted.

      • When pulling out the grommet, do not grip the sensor wire.

      • Fix the grommet in place within the range shown in the illustration.

    10. Connect the 2 connectors.

  7. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH (w/o AVS)


    1. B00597O

      Connect the connector to the skid control sensor.

    2. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the wire harness for the sensor clamp when installing it.

    3. B00570K

      Install the 2 sensor clamps to the upper arm with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the wire harness for the sensor clamp when installing it.

    4. Install the sensor clamp to the side member with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the wire harness for the sensor clamp when installing it.

    5. B0059G9C04
      *1 Grommet
      *2 Connector
      *3 Grommet Band Clamp
      *a Inside of Vehicle

      Insert the connector and grommet into the inside of the vehicle through the passage hole in the wheel house.

      Note

      Make sure the grommet band clamp remains on the outside of the vehicle.

    6. Hold the grommet and pull it toward the outside of the vehicle. Then fix the grommet in place so that it is not tilted.

    7. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 TOOL BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY
