DESCRIPTION

The lane departure warning camera receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) via CAN communication to control the lane departure alert system. When the lane departure warning camera receives a vehicle speed sensor malfunction signal, DTC C1AA3 is stored.

  • 2 seconds or more have elapsed after the engine switch is turned on (IG).

  • IG voltage is 10 V or more.

  • IG voltage is 10 V or more for 2 seconds or more.

  • While driving with the lane departure alert system operating, a vehicle speed sensor malfunction signal is received from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for 5 seconds or more.

  • Vehicle stability control system

  • Lane departure warning camera

  • When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.
