THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket and the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

2. CONNECT NO. 6 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 6 water by-pass hose to the water inlet and slide the clip to secure it.

3. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

4. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

   Click here

7. INSTALL CENTER NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER

   Click here

8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

9. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
