Note

When replacing the combination meter assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (FUEL METER OPERATION)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (FUEL INPUT)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G16 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the V2 fuel sender gauge assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G16-16 (L) - V2-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      G16-15 (E) - V2-2
      G16-16 (L) or V2-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G16-15 (E) or V2-2 - Body ground

  4. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly.
