DESCRIPTION

C1422 Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Zero Point High Malfunction When the stop light switch is OFF, the PMC terminal voltage is more than 0.86 V for 5 seconds or more while the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 3 km/h (2 mph) or more.

  • When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform zero point calibration.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs
    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    3. Start the engine.

    4. Perform a road test.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.

    5. In accordance with the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (MASTER CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.

    5. In accordance with the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

  4. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    5. Check if the same DTC is recorded.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STP TERMINAL)

      Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    3. Disconnect the A100 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
