DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the navigation antenna assembly.

Note

Check that the navigation antenna assembly cable is properly installed and does not have any sharp bends, pinching or loose connections before performing the following inspection procedure Click here.

  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  2. CHECK MODEL


    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - ANTENNA DIVIDER)


    1. Disconnect the I219 antenna divider connector.

    2. Disconnect the I221 navigation ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I219-2 (GPSN1) - I221-1 (GPSN2) Always Below 1 Ω
      I219-2 (GPSN1) or I221-1 (GPSN2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  4. REPLACE ANTENNA DIVIDER


    1. Replace the antenna divider with a new or known good one Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.
