DESCRIPTION
If the driver door glass or the front door window regulator assembly (for driver door) does not operate smoothly, the jam protection function may be triggered automatically, resulting in the auto up function being unable to fully close the window.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
If the front door window regulator assembly (for driver door) has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.
If the front door window regulator assembly (for driver door) has been removed and installed, or if the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) was reused when the door glass or door glass run was replaced, initialize the power window control system.
PROCEDURE
PERFORM INITIALIZATION (FOR DRIVER DOOR)
Initialize the front door window regulator assembly (for driver door).

CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION (FOR DRIVER DOOR))
Check that the driver door power window moves when the auto up and down function of the power window regulator master switch assembly is operated.

CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (FOR DRIVER DOOR)
Remove the window regulator.
Install the window glass to the door glass run.
Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly.
Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.
CAUTION:
Perform initialization again.

Ensure the following:
The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
Foreign matter is not caught in the glass run.
