CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE MANIFOLD SUPPORT BRACKET

   
   

   • w/ Glow Plug Controller:

   • w/o Glow Plug Controller:

     Click here

3. REMOVE CYLINDER BLOCK SIDE COVER

   
   

   • w/ Glow Plug Controller:

   • w/o Glow Plug Controller:

     Click here

4. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 bolts and manifold stay.

5. REMOVE CRANK POSITION SENSOR

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector from the crank position sensor.

   2. Disengage the crank position sensor connector wire harness clamp from the wire harness bracket.

   3. Remove the 2 bolts and the crank position sensor.
