ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. Check and clean the oil cooler assembly installation surface.

    2. Install 2 new O-rings and a new gasket to the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.

    3. Install the oil cooler assembly with the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 plate washers.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  2. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

      *b RH Side
      *c Front Side

      Connect the oil cooler hose and slide the clip to secure it.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

  3. ADD ENGINE OIL

  4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

  6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

  7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

  8. INSTALL OIL FILTER ELEMENT SERVICE HOLE COVER (for Full Cover Type)
