EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *A	for Hatchback and Sedan
      *B	for Wagon

      Remove the 2 bolts.

   2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust pipe support.

   3. Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.

2. REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *A	Type A
      *B	Type B

      Remove the 4 bolts and front center floor brace sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

   2. Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust pipe support.

   3. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Full Cover Type)

5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

   2. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

   3. Remove the gasket from the No. 2 exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly.
