DESCRIPTION

A DTC is output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0100

Both of the following conditions are met:


  1. All of the following conditions are met:


    • 3 seconds have elapsed since the ignition switch was turned ON.

    • The battery voltage is 10 V or more for 3 seconds or more.

  2. Both of the following conditions are met for 8 seconds or more:


    • The vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h (4 mph) or more.

    • The pre-collision city sensor does not receive data from the ECM.


  • CAN communication system

  • ECM

  • Pre-collision city sensor

U0123
  • All of the following conditions are met:


    • 3 seconds have elapsed since the ignition switch was turned ON.

    • The battery voltage is 10 V or more for 3 seconds or more.

    • The pre-collision city sensor does not receive data from the yaw rate sensor for 1 second or more.


  • CAN communication system

  • Yaw rate sensor

  • Pre-collision city sensor

U0126
  • All of the following conditions are met:


    • 3 seconds have elapsed since the ignition switch was turned ON.

    • The battery voltage is 10 V or more for 3 seconds or more.

    • The pre-collision city sensor does not receive data from the steering sensor for 1 second or more.


  • CAN communication system

  • Steering sensor (Spiral cable with steering sensor sub-assembly)

  • Pre-collision city sensor

U0129
  • All of the following conditions are met:


    • 3 seconds have elapsed since the ignition switch was turned ON.

    • The battery voltage is 10 V or more for 3 seconds or more.

    • The pre-collision city sensor does not receive data from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for 8 seconds or more.


  • CAN communication system

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

  • Pre-collision city sensor

U0155
  • All of the following conditions are met:


    • 3 seconds have elapsed since the ignition switch was turned to ON.

    • The battery voltage is 10 V or more for 3 seconds or more.

    • The pre-collision city sensor does not receive data from the combination meter assembly for 80 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / PCS/LDA/RSA/LVN / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    6. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
