BASIC INSPECTION
Measure the battery voltage with the ignition switch off.

| 11 to 14 V |
While using the parts location and system diagrams as a reference, inspect areas which can be visually checked for blown fuses, problems with wire harnesses (open and short circuits), improperly connected connectors, etc.
Tech Tips
If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.
