  2. BASIC INSPECTION


    1. Measure the battery voltage with the ignition switch off.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V
    2. While using the parts location and system diagrams as a reference, inspect areas which can be visually checked for blown fuses, problems with wire harnesses (open and short circuits), improperly connected connectors, etc.

      Tech Tips

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  4. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM)*


    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

    2. Clear the DTCs .

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
