TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

   Click here

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

4. REMOVE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

   
   

   1. w/ Telematics Transceiver except G-BOOK

      
      
      1. 

         *a	w/ Antenna Divider

         Disconnect the connectors.

      2. Remove the 3 screws and telematics transceiver.

   2. 

      w/ Telematics Transceiver for G-BOOK

      
      

      1. Disconnect the connectors.

      2. Remove the 3 screws and telematics transceiver with bracket.

5. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY (w/ Telematics Transceiver except G-BOOK)

6. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET (w/ Telematics Transceiver for G-BOOK)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 screws and telephone bracket LH.

   2. 

      Remove the 2 screws and telephone bracket RH.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET

   
   
   1. 

      *a	w/ Antenna Divider

      w/o Antenna Divider

      
      

      1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 telephone bracket.

   2. w/ Antenna Divider

      
      

      1. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

      2. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 telephone bracket.
