C1763

When either of the following conditions is met:


  • While the motor relay is in operation, the condition that the fluid pressure is 0.6 MPa (6.1 kgf/cm2, 87 psi) or less continues for 0.6 seconds.

  • When the vehicle is climbing a slope, no changes are detected in the fluid pressure for 8 seconds 3 times consecutively.


  • Fluid level low

  • Harness or connector

  • Suspension control relay (AHC)

  • Height control pump and motor

  • Suspension control ECU

  2. INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK


    1. Inspect for fluid leaks Click here.

      No fluid leakage.

  3. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL RELAY (AHC)


    1. Remove the suspension control relay (AHC) from the engine room relay block.

    2. B001AY3E01

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied to terminal 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage is applied to terminal 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU - RELAY (AHC) AND BODY GROUND)

    *2 Rear view of wire harness connector: (to Suspension Control ECU)

    1. Remove the suspension control relay (AHC) from the engine room relay block.

    2. Disconnect the K32 ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K32-16 (RC) - Relay block suspension control relay (AHC) terminal 1 Always Below 1 Ω
      K32-16 (RC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Relay block suspension control relay (AHC) terminal 2 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - SUSPENSION CONTROL RELAY(AHC))


    1. Remove the suspension control relay (AHC) from the engine room relay block.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RELAY (AHC) - PUMP AND MOTOR AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Remove the suspension control relay (AHC) from the engine room relay block.

    2. Disconnect the L83 pump and motor connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  7. CHECK OPERATION OF HEIGHT CONTROL PUMP AND MOTOR

      *1 Component without harness connected: (Height Control Pump and Motor)

      Remove the height control pump and motor Click here.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the height control pump and motor and check the operation of the motor.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      Motor operates

      Note


      • Be careful of fluid spray when the height control pump and motor is operating.

      • Do not allow the motor to operate for 60 seconds or more.

      • If the height control pump and motor is shorted, locked, or has a similar type of malfunction, a large amount of current will be flowing. Therefore, if the motor does not operate, immediately stop this inspection.
