Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Driver Side)

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Front Passenger Side)

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Pass the 2 seatback cover brackets through the 2 holes of the separate type front seatback pad.

  3. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Driver Side)

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  8. INSPECT SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM

  9. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SYSTEM

  10. INSPECT CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM

  12. ENABLE AUTOAWAY/RETURN FUNCTION (w/ Memory)


    1. Restore the autoaway/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Click here.
