DESCRIPTION

Output to the rear right cushion cover temperature sensor stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

      DTC B14C2 is not output.

  3. INSPECT BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A000NOUE02

      Remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover Click here.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (TFAR) - 4 (SG) Seat cushion heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 7.2 to 8.8 kΩ

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER)


    1. Disconnect the N157 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the e3 bench type rear seat cushion cover connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N157-18 (TFAR) - e3-1 (TFAR) Always Below 1 Ω
      N157-31 (SG) - e3-4 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
      N157-18 (TFAR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N157-31 (SG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
