VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM VGRS System Stops or does not Operate

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (DYNAMIC REAR STEERING SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs in the dynamic rear steering system Click here.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (ABNORMAL OPERATION HISTORY)


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / VGRS / Data List / Abnormal Operation History.

    6. According to the display on the GTS, read the Abnormal Operation History.

    1. Check if operation stopped under harsh conditions, such as the steering wheel being repeatedly turned while the vehicle is stationary.
